After the routine of clearing up their tables and washing their faces and hands, children have gotten into the habit of picking books from the shelves and huddling together in a corner of the classroom to read them. It can be a really quiet time or a pretty lively one and it's always a pleasure to watch them scroll through the books to make their choice, peek over their neighbour's shoulder, exchange and discuss.
